Très immersif

L’expérience est globalement très satisfaisante. L’intrigue est extrêmement bien pensée, avec une histoire captivante et des énigmes qui tiennent en haleine du début à la fin. L’univers immersif et le souci du détail dans les éléments fournis sont particulièrement appréciables, ce qui rend l’expérience d’autant plus prenante pour les amateurs de jeux d’enquête.
En revanche, deux points méritent d’être mentionnés. D’une part, le jeu des acteurs dans les supports vidéos/audio est parfois un peu faible, ce qui peut briser légèrement l’immersion. D’autre part, le fait que le jeu ne soit ni revendable ni prêtable est un frein pour certains, surtout après avoir terminé l’aventure.
Malgré ces petits inconvénients, Le Tueur au Tarot reste une excellente option pour passer des soirées palpitantes entre amis ou en famille. Une enquête à la fois exigeante et divertissante qui vaut la peine d’être vécue au moins une fois !

What is Detective Box?

Detective Box investigation games are at-home, immersive experiences, where you take on the role of a detective in charge of solving a criminal investigation. 

Woodlock University is a three-part investigation that is delivered straight to your door. It contains three boxes with each one acting like a single episode of a true-crime series. In them, you will find physical evidence and documents that are vital for solving the case. It takes two to three hours to work through each box. However, this comes with a binge warning as you’ll probably end up wanting to solve the investigation in one go.

Please note, you will need an internet connection to access our digital portal, which will guide you through your objectives.

What's in the boxes?

Detective Box isn’t a board game. Here, you won’t find any playing pieces, cards or dice. You’ll simply receive items relating to the investigation (police reports, physical pieces of evidence, witness statements, etc.) to help you catch the killer. And not to mention, the many twists and turns that will have you questioning your instinct and the truth.

Our digital portal will also allow you to investigate in a more organised fashion by guiding you through your main objectives.

Can I reuse the contents of the box?

Solving your investigation requires you to handle, review and annotate various documents and items of evidence. Therefore, you won’t be able to reuse the contents of the box once you’ve solved the case and know all the twists and turns.

How much is delivery and how long does it take?

Delivery to the UK is free (excluding express delivery) when you buy Woodlock University. You will receive a notification about the delivery date as soon as it’s ready.
