Our story
We love puzzles. We adore mystery and suspense.
We were always left feeling disappointed with home escape rooms. We wanted to offer a new experience. One that was more immersive and engaging than ever before.
So, we came up with the idea of devising a major crime scene investigation. One that would feature a complex storyline with mind-boggling puzzles and other gaming elements.
Following a hugely successful crowdfunding campaign, we threw our heart and soul into creating our first criminal case, which took two years, 120 professionals and 100 playtests to bring to life. Soon, detectives around the world were piecing together the mystery behind Henry Coleman’s death.
Woodlock University was a meteoric success, selling over 55,000 copies in the first year alone. Since then, we’ve gone on to create many other cases, taking each one to a whole new level.
With meticulously crafted scripts, increasingly complex puzzles and complete immersion, Detective Box has quite literally reinvented the genre.
