Riddle 1: The Scientist
Difficulty: 2/10
A scientist is found dead in his laboratory while working. He has suffered multiple stab wounds and is covered in blood. Next to his body is his periodic table with three chemical elements underlined in his blood: Neon, Germanium, and Europium. He has a watch on his wrist that is four minutes slow, and was found by his wife Irene. His two sons Arsene and Eugene and his daughter Solene were all in their rooms when the scientist was murdered.
Who killed the scientist?
Puzzle 2: Murder at the Manor
Difficulty: 4/10
Mr. X investigates the murder of a famous doctor, murdered in his home. It was by taking a secret passage that he had just discovered that he found the clue revealing the identity of the murderer. He already knew where the crime had taken place, and he suspected the weapon used. However, rather than alerting the police, he went to the central staircase of the mansion, where an envelope was waiting for him that would confirm his suspicions.
How did he know such an envelope would be there?
Riddle 3: The pill
Difficulty: 6/10
A serial killer kidnaps his victims and to kill them, he makes them choose between two pills: one is red, the other is blue. He explains to them that one is harmless, the other deadly, without ever specifying which one. The victims must swallow the chosen pill and he will systematically swallow the other, putting their fate in their own hands. However, each time, the victim chooses one of the two pills, swallows it with a glass of water, and dies. The killer, himself, survives his pill.
Why does the assassin never end up with the deadly pill?
Puzzle 4: An Unconvincing Suicide
Difficulty: 8/10
A man is found dead with a cassette in one hand and a gun in the other. When the police arrive, they immediately play the cassette. They first hear the words: “I have no reason to live anymore,” followed by a gunshot. The police immediately rule out suicide, they are convinced that it is a homicide.

Riddle 5: The note
Difficulty: 10/10
A detective, on the verge of discovering the identity of a wanted mob boss, goes missing. She left behind a note:

There are currently 3 suspects: Bill, Lucky and Greg.
Can you decipher this message?
Solutions:
1 - We are in a game of Cluedo.
2 - The elements underlined by the doctor are Ne, Ge and Eu. In reverse, it gives "Eu Ge Ne". So Eugene is the murderer.
3 - The poison is in the water.
4 - Dead people can't rewind a tape.
5 - In reverse, we can read “Bill is the boss”.
